For enterprises, this means agent risks can now be insured like any other employee. The move addresses a critical trust gap: over 95% of enterprise AI pilots fail to reach deployment, with legal and security concerns cited as primary barriers.
Meanwhile, insurance giants are deploying AI Agents internally at scale. Sedgwick is optimizing claim workflows through its AI application Sidekick. Allianz uses AI to manage post-storm claims surges, analyzing damage documentation and prioritizing cases. The Insurance Information Institute notes that agentic AI is forcing a rethink of model risk management — systems triggering actions across multiple functions may not fit existing validation frameworks. Analysts project that by late 2026, more than 35% of insurers will deploy AI Agents across at least three core functions, cutting processing time by up to 70%.
